Why The Fun Run?

The Royal Sutton Fun Run is NOT A RACE. It’s a fun event for people of all ages and abilities. Disability or age is not a barrier.
As an entrant you are encouraged to contribute towards the key objective – to provide financial support to charities and voluntary organisations, preferably across the Midlands – by collecting sponsorship money for a charity, voluntary organisation or community interest group of your choice.
As a direct result of your endeavours, this financial support will directly improve the quality of life for those who live with physical, learning or emotional disability.

You begin the 8.5-mile route with an uphill climb of Mill Street out of Royal Sutton Coldfield town centre, passing the police and fire stations before turning left onto Anchorage Road...

In these extraordinary times and challenging few months ahead for all of us, we have to allow people to focus on what is important at the moment and that is the health of themselves, their families, friends and neighbours.
